is it truue that they're making one, and that Jim Carrey will play Curley? My brother-in-law told me that, and I just can't believe it!! JIM CARREY???? PLEEEEZE don't let that be true!!!!

Yes it's true. And Sean Penn is also in the cast! I think this movie has been terribly miscast!

Here's the cast:

Jim Carrey - Curly Howard

Sean Penn - Larry Fine

Benicio Del Toro - Moe Howard

It's being directed by the Farrelly brothers and is due in theaters in 2010.

There are only six men who could play The Three Stooges (Moe Howard,
Larry Fine, Curly Howard, Shemp Howard, Joe Besser and Curly Joe DeRita);
and, sadly, they are all long gone.

Isnt Jim Carrey about 6'2" and wasnt Curly about 5'5"

Is this is a bio-pic or heaven forbid a "three stooges " comedy movie, I actually liked the dramatic TV movie produced by Mel Gibson a few years ago

I really liked that movie, too.

And I have NO intention whatsoever of patronizing this travesty posing as a "Three Stooges" film. The older I get, the more I understand that Hollywood just doesn't get it, or more likely, just doesn't care.
