I noticed a lot of unusual, yet cool, user names on this board. How did you come up with your name (referring, of course, to the ones who don't just use their regular names
?I'll start. I came up with the name steevo out of two things. First, obviously my name being Steve, a few people at work would call me steevo when they wanted me for something. What the heck, I took it as a compliment. Also, this is silly, but it rhymes with tivo, which I use to record shows frequently. I'm guessing a lot of user names have to do with hobbies or likes. |

I just added an o to the end of my name. And then just in case there might be another Marvo here I added an easy to remember number(my apartment number) thus ending up with Marvo301.

Pleasant tomorrow comes from the phrase "Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow" which was said at the end of SNL's weekend update by Chevy Chase and also later Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon.
I'm almost kind of due for a change now that I think about it but, meh. It's too difficult getting everyone to become familiar with your new name. I've only ever had one other, *A TV People* which was just my 12 year old way of talking like a moron in saying 'a person that likes TV.' Actually the story behind that is that those stars represent an action happening in the internet world I guess like *eats crackers* or whatever, you know what I mean, and I originally wanted *Likes TV*...but it was either taken or I changed my mind? I dunno, and the stars just stayed. |

I was a satellite nerd for a while and I loved the name of Dish Network's transponder system Echostar. Of course I couldn't validate Echostar, so I had to opt for the dopey alternate spelling Ekkostar.
I just have to say I hate it in chat rooms when people call me "Ekko", it makes me nerd rage. IT'S ONE WORD! |

At the time when I joined, Mariah Carey had come up with her own label "MonarC Music" so I used MonarC as my username since I love MC so much.

It's the shortened form of Princess Zelda (my fave character from the Legend of Zelda series for Nintendo), because I wanted to come up with something that would be original. I've been playing Zelda games for nearly 22 years now -- I turn 24 this summer, so I was raised on Nintendo.
I've been going by that username for more than a decade now.

I came up with the screen name because ( at the time) I was in the Hollywood area (like every Thursday or the weekend). Chic, because I am also into fashion and have my own, unique style, and Rock is in reference of I being a music lover (and rock and roll being one of my favorite genres).

It's fairly obvious. But for those who might not know Penny Lane is the name of the great Beatles song.

Sharop was a name I had for a character in a story or script that I was planning to write (it never came to fruition.)
I've done it several other times with other character names. On some forums I've used the name Tap since I've written a story where the principal character is a guy named Tap Canfield. Orrie is another one I've used as there was a boy named Orrie in another story that I wrote. I've thought about changing my username at times too. Maybe I will at some point but like Pleasant Tomorrow said, it would take people a while to get used to a new name after all this time. |

My name comes from my name. Mickey McIntosh. I had a friend who started calling me MickeyMac, so I use that on different forums including this one.
