10. Tony Danza
One can only imagine that the only reason someone decided that it might be a good idea to give Tony Danza his own talk show was that in the daytime talk show slot, he might at least make the post-menopausal women who watch TV during the day a little moist with his suave Italian voice and that tall dark and handsome charm. The only good thing about this show was that it introduced the world to the metal band known as the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza |

9. Jim Rome
I really, really loathe Jim Rome. I don't know... maybe it's the Spanish Conquistador goatee or the fact that he always looks and sounds like he's jacked the **** up on steroids... like if you ever, ever introduced him to your mom or your sister that he would rape them in the green room between commercial breaks, wipe his sweaty brow and get back to work. |

8. Dr. Phil
Dr. Phil is one of those things that just never should have been. There's an alternate universe out there without a Dr. Phil and its people are much happier for it. There's no reason he should have ever been on Oprah, not even once and no one should have ever given him his own talk show. It's like there was a glitch in the space time continuum somewhere and somehow this sappy, bald headed Texan psuedo-shrink ended up on daytime TV trying to solve the world's problems with the efficiency of John Edwards trying to communicate with your dead grandmother. |

7. Magic Johnson
For a very sad 8 weeks in 1998, the world had The Magic Hour. Everybody loved Magic Johnson, so why not give him his own talk show? Sure, what the hell, he supposedly has HIV and he can shoot a basketball, so he'll be great interviewing celebrities, right? Magic Johnson later claimed that the failure of his show was the lack of support from African-American celebrities, who as he claimed, had their agents "keep them off the black shows". Right. |

6. Chevy Chase
This is one that should have worked and perhaps because of the expectations that became so quickly destroyed that The Chevy Chase Show often goes down in history as the worst talk show ever. Chevy Chase is a funny, quick-witted guy, so he should be brilliant as a talk show host. He really should have been. But what could have been, should have been, in reality was 20 minutes of bad jokes, incredibly awkward silences and pauses and an overall desire to start drinking just to ease your pain and his at the same time. |

5, Pat Sajak
Here's a fan-****ing-tastic idea-- let's take the most boring, milquetoast game show host ever and give him the opportunity to interview celebrities on a late night talk show. He wasn't funny, he wasn't interesting. He should have stuck to leading window-lickers through solving 3rd grade word puzzles. |

Sharon Osbourne
From the beating the **** out of a dead horse department, it's the Sharon Osbourne Show! Not all the drugs in the world would make this a likable show. It was boring and the banter between Sharon and Kelly Osbourne wasn't even interesting like it was on The Osbournes-- instead it was like being stuck over at someone's house that you don't like for 20 minutes and watching them bicker about some incident that happened years ago that you don't care about, they won't tell you about and wouldn't make an interesting story anyway. |

3. John McEnroe
Not even Will Ferrell or Triumph could prevent CNBC from yanking this show as quickly as it came. Granted, CNBC has a history of not making the best programming decisions, but getting an aging tennis star to try and have a quasi-comedy, quasi-financial talk show was just a recipe for disaster. |

2. Roseanne Barr
Poor daytime TV... you get all the **** shows because TV execs think that bored housewives will watch anything. Well, actually they're right... bored housewives will watch anything, except for Roseanne Barr trying to muddle through a daytime talk show with all the enthusiasm of a dead herring. It's one of those instances where it seemed obvious that someone else thought this was a good idea and Roseanne was like "sure what the hell" and then quickly realized she hated being a talk show host. |

1. Alf
Now non-humans can have decent talk shows-- Space Ghost for example-- and ALF has some of the qualities that would make for a halfway decent talk show host in real life, except that he's not real. He's a ****ing puppet and a gimmick and this show was nothing but an attempt to suck the ALF teat completely dry until there's nothing left but an unrecognizable husk of a Muppet. http://www.iheartchaos.com/content/1...lon-i-heart-tv |
