It wouldn't effect me since I like the oldies 60's-80's music. I can also listen for free on myspace, which you can create playlists and listen while surfing.

the music industry has been pressuring them to raise prices (always the greedy$$$), but the bottom line is that if they jack the prices up too high, more people will just pirate them - a downloaded song/album should NOT cost more than the price of a physical cd.
