Beginning of the end for N@N when this show hits the schedule later this year? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

"Everybody Hates Chris"

Do you think will be the year N@N goes down hill like how TV land has in 2005? I think we all know EHC is not a N@N show. Too New for the network and it's the same Direction TV land has taken with the slogan-"New is In and Old is Out"

What do you think?

I'm a semi-fan of Everybody Hates Chris - I watched in it's first 2 seasons, but unfortunately, the CW killed the show, and now it's barely watchable. Will I watch it on NAN? Probably not. But will it make the network terrible? I don't think so.

I think we'll most likely be seeing it take over the 9pm hour, considering how the show probably appeals to the youngest audience.

I'm just afraid this pickup is a sign of more former CW shows to come in the next decade. I hope not.

Oh god, I hope not too. But seeing how well George Lopez has done for NAN, my guess would be that with EHC being modern as well, it'll follow the same success.

Just seems like N@N is not really grabbing shows the 80's besides the Cosby Show. Atleast I can say TV Land is still provding Tv shows from before 1980. N@N seems to be more concerned with 1990 and after shows.

I do like EHC. IMO it's the only good sitcom to come out of UPN. With that said, I'd much prefer seeing EHC on locals and have N@N go back to showing classic tv shows.

Exactly, N@N should focus on the 1980-1993 era

WOW!!! I had no idea this show was coming to the schedule!!!
I actually like the show. It's pretty funny, so I don't mind it, but I'd rather have the older type sitcoms on it, like you mentioned. I guess I've pretty much given up on that...I mean CSI on TVLand...WTF???
