Wink "Fours A Couple"- Episode One: "Moving Out"

"Four's A Couple"
Episode One
"Moving Out"

Timeframe: This takes place in 1988

Scene- Jack's Bistro

Mr. Angelino: I have to tell you something, Jack?

Jack: What is it?

Mr. A: I am NOT renewing your lease.

Jack: Why Mr. Angelino, why?

Mr. Angelino: French crusine is going down in Santa Monica. Everyones going to McDonalds, Wendys, and Burger King. Even I had to go to doing fast food. It's called 'Angelino Burgers'.

Jack: But!

Mr. A: No buts about it, Tripper. I'll give you a month to move out.

Jack: Janet is going to be so upset!

Mr. A: I'm sorry, Tripper, but I had to do this.

Later that day....

Scene- Jack and Janet's apartment above the bistro

Janet: Oh, Jack, it's not your fault!

Jack: I know, Janet, but we still need to get a new house.

Janet: We will, we will.....

Scene- Larry and Terri's apartment. (Note: I haven't gotten to this part in "Terri Loves Larry". They moved into this apartment just down the street from their old apartment. Dean Travers is also the landlord of this building. They also have a son, Richard.

Mr. Travers: I'm sorry, Larry, but you have to move out. He's three.

Larry: Why?

Mr. Travers: I already told you that I sold the building! The new landlord wants to tear down the building and build a retirement home.

Mr. Travers leaves

Terri and Richard enter

Terri: What's wrong, Larry?

Richard: Who's Larry?

Terri: Larry's your dad, Richie.

Richard: Oh...

Larry: Terri, I don't know how to tell you this, but we have to move.

Terri: What?! We can't afford that! With little Richard here, that's impossible. I'm only a nurse.

Larry: Haven't you forgoten that I'm a used car sales lot owner? We can do it!

Sceen Fades......

To reveal the beach

Larry, Richard, and Terri are walking along the beach, when they see Jack and Janet.

Terri: Hey, Janet!

Janet: Hey, Terri!

Terri: I haven't seen you in about three weeks!

Janet: Guess what, Terri? We have to move!

Terri: So do we!

Janet: I wished we could all live together, like we used to, except with Richard and Larry. Hey, you know, we could move back to 201! Mr. Roper is the new landlord.

Terri: But is 201 open? And who's Mr. Roper?

Janet: Mr. Roper was our old landlord before RF. And the apartment is open! Mr. Furley told me.

Terri: Let's tell our husbands!

Larry: We heard, we heard! And it's fine with us. But let's ask Richard. Richard, do you want to live with uncle Jack and Aunt Janet?

Richie: Yeah, yeah!

Jack: Then it's settled! We'll go to Mr. Roper, TODAY!

Scene- Ropers' apartment

Helen: Stanley, isn't it nice being back here?

Stanley: It sure is! I mean, it sure is.

Doorbell rings

Mr. Roper opens the door. The five come in.

Mrs. Roper: Jack ,Janet, and Larry!

She goes and hugs them.

Mrs. Roper: And Terri! I haven't seen you since....Richard was born. And where is he?

Terri: He's right here.

She points to Richard

Mr. Roper: Okay, now what do you want?

Larry: We'd like to move back into 201.

Mr. Roper: What? There isn't enough room! And no children allowed!

Mrs. Roper: Stanley, you know Mr. Travers tore down the walls between each apartment to make be 2X the size. And Mr. Travers said children were allowed. And Stanley, it's 1988!

Larry: Yeah listen to her, Mr. Roper.

Mr. Roper: Well okay.... But you still ahve to pay $600 rent!

Janet: $600? It used to be only $300!

Mr. Roper: Inflation!

Larry: Ohhhh! Well we're are moving in tomorrow.

Mr. Roper: Since I know how you are, I won't ask what your habits are, they proboly haven't changed. But Jack's have....

Jack: What?!

Mr. Roper: Your not a <does the tinkerbell> tinkerbell anymore. Anyway, you all have to sign the lease.

They all gather around the table and sign the lease.

Mrs. Roper: Oh, Terri and Larry, it was nice knowing that someone was doing something in bed.

They all laugh as the scene fades to the credits.

The End

More comeing soon in this strange creature entitled "Four's A Couple".

Hint: In episode three, someone will disappear!

------------------
Jack: You know what your trouble is, Chrissy? You're a compulsive eater!
Chrissy: I am not! I'm just always hungry.
