Please help me in remembering info about this case. It happened in St. Croix, a few people were found dead of cyanide poisoning and their clothes were soaked in seawater even though they weren't near the ocean. Thanks!

Oh yeah! The first victim was a black man (can't remember his name) and the second victims were a husband and wife (can't remember their names). The couple owned a small grocery store and according to their daughter, wanted to expand the store and were often on the phone about "the money". The husband and wife were both found dead separately in different vehicles. That is a very mysterious case and the segment was done really well. Not sure if this voodoo guy that poisoned these people were caught though.

Weren't they indian people? I think the murders involved the fact that they had borrowed money? I'm going to go look it up. I think it was recently discussed. If I find it, I'll bump it up to the top.

Seriously, I know that I did not hallucinate the fact that there is a thread on this case!
I've spent the last 45 minutes searching using the words voodoo, sea water, soaked, grocery, expand, indian, cyanide, 15,000, 50,000 (with and without the $dollar sign) and I can't remember all what else. I didn't find what I was looking for. I know that the thread talked about these people borrowing these specific amounts of money to expand their grocery business, that they were later found dead and soaking wet. Maybe even that they were first thought to be suicides, etc. The thread I'm trying to find was detailed in the discussion, but all I can find are threads like this one with vague questions. |

I found the case on the UM official site, but never did find the discussion here on the boards.
