Anybody remember this book? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I remember first reading this book sometime between 1990-1994. It was a small paperback, around 100 pages, and it was titled Unsolved Mysteries. It had to have been published with the permission of CM, because it had UM's logo with the lines behind it on the cover, and each chapter of the book was in the trademark UM font. Stories included The Black Dahlia, Madonna of Mejurgorge, The disappearance of Jim Thompson (aka the Silk King), the disappearance of the Eskimo village in Alaska, the murder of Helen Brach, and many others that I can remember if I sit and think long enough. I don't know who the editor was and I can't for the life of me find a copy on Amazon or any other sites. Anyone familiar with this book who could help me? I bought it as a preteen and I am dying to read it again.

I know the book I use to own it as well...I can't remember the name of it and I've tried just looking it up by just typing Unsolved Mysteries but that doesn't do it. I hope someone here can help!

Well at least I'm not the only one that remembers! I typed "unsolved mysteries" into amazon, sorted through 30 pages of results, no dice. Hopefully it will turn up somewhere.

Okay, my hunting has led me to believe that the author was Clifford Linedecker, but other than a copy in the UK for over $30, still haven't located it. But at least I have a name.

Edit: OOOh jackpot, five people in the US are selling it for under $5. Now I can ask them to make sure this is the book.
