Default Which was better--the sixties version or the ninties?

I'd still say the sixties. I did not care for either of the Addams family movies. But I did think the ninities remake of the old tv show revived some of the old ghoulish charm. So....which was the best? Actually, were either series bettter or worse than the movies, since most will still prefer the sixties version.

I liked the series remake better than the movies, which I found to be too dark. Like the old saying goes, there's nothing like the original.

The 60s version, by far. The entire cast (most especially John Astin and Ted Cassidy) were so perfect in their roles.

Is there any doubt.

The original of course. Great cast, funny show. Cant be repeated with the new version or the corny movies.

Although I liked the 2 Addams Family movies. The original series; to me; will always be the best version.

The original original- The New Yorker.

Just kidding- I love "The Addams Family" series from the '60s - the reunion TV-movies and the 1990s movies are fun too, and the '90s revival TV series isn't that bad. I wouldn't pick it over the original TV series, but it's fun to watch too.
I particularly like the cartoon series though- both the '70s version and the '90s cartoon. They were both great cartoon series! (I particularly like the Addams Family and Scooby-Doo crossover on "The New Scooby Doo Movies"- that was just a natural.)
