Liam Neeson's Latest Movie, "Chloe" is Now Uncertain due to his wife's death - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Chloe, Liam Neeson's current project that he had been filming in Toronto opposite Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried, was days away from completion when Neeson's wife, Natasha Richardson, was fatally injured on a ski slope in Montreal. While we reported earlier that the production helmed by director Atom Egoyan is continuing without Neeson, the Academy Award-nominated actor will have to return to Toronto at some point to finish up one-to-two days of shooting. "We're just waiting to hear from Liam on what he wants to do," a source within the production told EW. "We're not sure about anything." Chloe centers on a doctor who hires an escort to seduce her husband, whom she suspects of cheating.

That's too bad. Liam doesn't look anywhere near good enough to work. The man's completely broken. I doubt he really cares if the film gets finished or not.

Liam is devasted yes, but he's a professional. My bet is that he will return, especially if there's only a couple of days of shooting left for him. They'll shoot what they can now, while he's grieving and burying his beloved wife, but that whole family are acting pros and he won't let an entire film down for this. Had they been more in the middle of shooting, I could see it, but I think he will get it finished. Natasha herself probably would want him to and he'll do it for her memory.

A good point. I didn't say he wouldn't do it, but I think right now that's the last thing he's worried about. On the other hand, sometimes when you've had an awful personal tragedy, work is the best thing for you. Susan Hampshire shot all of "The Pallisers" right after her infant daughter died. She said working so hard helped her through it.

Exactly. And men seem to dive into their work during times like these than women do so that's why it wouldn't surprise me either. Oh I'm sure right now it IS the last thing on his mind as it should be. The production company can work around this. It may cost them thousands more than expected, but who cares - it's not like anyone asked for or expected this horrible thing to happen.

I think Liam is a strong man and will back to work soon. But I hope he really takes care of himself before he goes back.
