Default Best thread you ever created?

It could be one that got alot of responses, one that you liked because of creative or funny responses, or just one that you thought was creative, and not something that had been done before. The best thread I ever started is an easy one for me. It was my mom's heart surgery prayer request thread. That was obviously a very emotional time for me, and I remember crying as I saw all the overwhelming responses. I was so touched infact that I even printed the whole near 100 reply thread out for my mom, and she cried all the way through. It's quite obvious why that's the best thread I ever started, but what about you all? What's the best thread you ever started, and why?

I think my best thread was my first one - "How Did You Guys Get Your Screen Names?" I got a lot of positive comments on that one (a lot of people enjoyed responding to it), plus that's how I began to get to know many of you here! A double plus for me and everybody!

My best thread is "The Shout! Factory Appreciation Thread" because it's the longest one I've ever made.

I give all the credit to Brian Ward, from Shout! Factory. It's his participation that's got people visiting the thread, but I'm just happy to be the one who started it.

It fried me cuz it got locked early because of a stupid troll, but it was on the Seinfeld board - something about:

Have you ever noticed your pets acting like the Seinfeld characters - and that I had a cat who was Kramer - the way he'd enter a room, my female dog being Jerry - the straightman of the bunch, my persian being George and my himmy cat could be Elaine when she's bitchy.

Boy I had a lot of time on my hands in 2004...

As of now here is what I got:

My thread with the most views was an article I posted on Mickey Rourke's success and downward spiral from Entertainment Weekly. It has 3,791 views with only 1 reply.

My thread with the most responses was my Celebrity Autograph thread. It has 103 replies with 1,811 views.

If I had to pick my favorite to date it would probably go to my Jason Voorhees thread. I went back to it to post a picture of remake Jason and I saw that it had zero response but over 1,000 hits.
As of now it has 2,227 views with 10 replies

Thumbs up

I have created so many it's hard to choose. I guess one of my favorites was "Beer Lovers".

Well the dumbest thread I ever created was the famous "I'm drunk" thread. Other people seemed to find it funny though

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...ad.php?t=69586

But my favorite thread wasn't started by me. I'd actually been away from SO for a long time (I was suffering from severe clinical depression at the time) and it touched my heart to see that so many people noticed and cared:
