Default Violence - It is never ok to hit

Lately there's been talk about guys beating women there's even skits ot tv shows that deals with this subject. Like Madtv or Saturday nIGHT Live, even cartoons, but the recent beating of music and soul recording artist Rhinna and her off an on again Chris Brown now it seems like everyone says it is her fault. Well do u remember Nicole Simpson and Robin Givens? Larry King had Joy Bernhart from The View and she was interviewing them and Denise Richard said that it is never all right to hit a women and of course she is right and Robin Givens was married to Mike Tyson which she says that he beat her but,she got out of the relationship.but Nicole Brown Simpson was to late,Denise and Robin each other for awhile, but,now that vilonce agisnt women have surfaced again with Chris Brown and Rihanna people are talking. It is never all right to hit a women.Or to hit anyone including men and children.

I agree. Violence is not the answer.

society thinks it's so much more horrible for a man to hit a woman than it is for a woman to hit a man. it's bothersome.

I believe that violence (hitting) should only be used for extreme situations. If you truly believe you are in danger, whether or not your attacker is male or female, then you have every right to do what you must to get out of the situation.

Females should not be able to hide behind the "Oh I'm a female so a man can't hit me no matter what I do." attitude. As I have stated before I don't give an OK for a male to give a women a beatdown, but people should have every right to do what they got to do to defend themselves if they believe they are in a life-threatening situation. The sex of the offender should not matter.

Men should not hit women but women should not hit men either. Actually nobody should hit anybody. Should either side decide otherwise then they should do so at their own peril.

The exact same thing! I hate it when women think they can hit a man and get away with it because men are taught not to hit back.

I've been angry enough that I might have liked to put my fist in a guy's face (one in particular), but would NEVER actually do it. Hit a wall, pillow, sofa - whatever instead but not anything living.

Either sex hitting the other is ridiculous and fixes nothing.

First off, it's never okay to hit anyone, regardless of gender. Second, guys that hit women are scum and deserve to be beaten themselves. Hitting a woman is as low as you can go. As for the women, what annoys me the most are the women that stay with these guys. They'll come up with a bunch of excuses: "I have no where to go", "He won't hit me again", etc. It's like Oprah said, "If he hits you once, he'll hit you again". It's never an isolated incident.

Good question. If a woman hit me. I would get the hell out of there. There is no need for that kind of behavior in a relationship. I would never hit a woman, and I dont expect a female to start beating up on me.
