Yes, those Hayley Mills movies from back in the day were so much fun. I'll have to watch this one again one of these days.

I love Hayley Mills--esp in Pollyanna, The Parent Trap, and The Trouble with Angels
Hallmark showed the remake of That Darn Cat afterwards....doesn't quite have the same charm, IMO. |

The Parent Trap is my favorite Hayley Mills movie. I also liked her as Miss Bliss on Good Morning Miss Bliss (the prequel to Saved by the Bell)

^ Me, too. Except here in the Cleveland market, GMMB was shown under the Saved by the Bell title with a clip at the beginning of the show. The clip always featured Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack, mentioning the gang's adventures "when we were in junior high". I liked the character of Miss Bliss, and Hayley Mills did a fine job in the role. I wouldn't have minded having her for a teacher.

I can't say that I liked this one or the remake.
For Hayley Mills I have memories of watching The Trouble With Angels when I was younger. It was one of my mother's favorities and she watched it all the time. I bought in on DVD in a discount bargain bin at PathMark for $5.00 I didn't care at all for the sequel Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows. I don't remember much of it now but I remember this one dumb scene where the nuns school bus stumbles upon a western movie set and Native Americans "attack" the bus. It was another bad example on how Native Americans were treated in Hollywood at the time before the whole big feud going on during the 1970s. I also liked her in The Parent Trap but I did not see the three sequels. |

I think my favorite film of hers is Summer Magic. I also love all of The Parent Trap movies. It's hard to find Parent Trap III and IV nowadays, but II is finally on DVD ![]() My dad is hopelessly in love with Hayley Mills. He's likes my mom a lot, but she understands that she comes in second to Hayley He wanted to name me Hayley, but that's where she drew the line. |

I agree about Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows. The lack of Mills is a dynamic--Stella Stevens is no Hayley Mills
Hayley and Rosalind Russell did not get along, so when a sequel came along, Hayley's part was refashioned as the rebel nun played by Stella Stevens. I recently rewatched it a few months ago and it reinforced my correct position on why I didn't buy it.

^ Did they ever say why the two didn't get along?

-According to Rosalind Russell, she and Hayley Mills did not get along during filming. She claimed that every time she turned around or walked away from Mills, she would stick her tongue out at her. |
