Oh No Michigan 16-Year-Old High School Student Brutally Beats Female Bus Driver

Video catches teen student's beating of school bus driver in Kalamazoo Michigan
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Friday, March 6th 2009, 12:37 PM

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 16-year-old Michigan boy has been charged in the beating of a substitute school bus driver.

The Kalamazoo Gazette and WWMT-TV report the Kalamazoo teen has been charged as a juvenile with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

Authorities say the teen was upset at how the 37-year-old driver was doing her job and threatened her Tuesday morning. She pulled over in Kalamazoo Township, about 45 miles south of Grand Rapids, where police say the teen attacked the driver, who suffered a broken finger, bruises and scrapes.

The Kalamazoo Public Schools district says the driver was following all rules and regulations at the time of the incident.

The boy is being held in a juvenile home and will appear in court April 3 for a pretrial hearing.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_w...ting_of_s.html - Full video of the incident is here

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=8b4_1236287203 - A news story where the boy's parents speak out. They say he's not responsible because he must have been provoked and that he has "twins in his head".

The tapes don't lie.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Print his name and photo along with the story. Let everyone know who this little punk is.

Go to jail, tough guy.

Sickening, isn't it?? Hopefully this tape will be enough to keep him locked away for a long time.

Since I live in Kalamazoo I heard about this when it first happend. I saw on the local news the parents trying to make excuses saying it wasnt his fault. The mother was saying "he's two different people", and the father was saying "it was the drivers fault cause she slammed on the brakes too hard". What a bunch of bullsh*t. Hopefully this kid will be tried as an adult, and I blame the parents just as much as the kid. Its obvious this kid had issues, what were the parents doing about it, and why didnt they know that this kid was a walking time bomb. I have no sympathy for them whatsoever.

Oh No

WOW! I have had people in my family who use to drive school buses. It is no picnic. They both quit due to kids bad behavior.

You couldn't pay me enough to be a school bus driver. I have the deepest respect for those who can do it. My hat's off to them!!

if he's really a schizophrenic and the medication is still pending, they need to throw him in a mental hospital until he's no longer a threat to the innocent. it's no excuse.

If this kid was riding on the Chicago Transit Authority buses during AM Rush or PM Rush (yes, they sometimes slam on the brakes too - mainly because other drivers try to cut them off) and he tried to beat up one of THEIR drivers, I don't think that kid would be alive today!
