Default TV Land reaches a New Low!

Tvland, Where have you gone. You're supposed to be the classic TV network, and you've made some crazy moves lately. But whats up with The Cougar? A new reality show with a bunch of men competing for an older woman. Whats this have to do with classic tv? When Nick-at-Nite/TVLand first came on the scene, it was the place to go to escape this kind of mindless/trashy show. You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. When I first saw the ad for this I thought I was watching MTV or Fox Reality, but TVLand???? I wanted to puke.

you know, if there is one good thing that I can say about TVLand, it would be that in comparison it makes the economy look not so bad!!!

WHERE'S MY NIGHT COURT? Oh, TV Land, please renew your contract with Warner Bros.!

I haven't completely bailed on TV Land yet since they still air these shows back to back

Jeffersons
Cosby Show

So tv land has managed to find a way to keep me watching at certain parts of the day

BTW: who was the genius that thought a marathon of CSI would be a great idea?-lol

Tvland has blown since Chasing Farrah . I went back to the TVL message board after a 6 month hiatus and it is still the same silly nonsense.

TV Land sucks....I can't believe at one time, I couldn't wait until my cable company added it to the lineup. It seems like a lifetime ago.

That was the turning point. Sorry Farrah, but I'd rather see you in Angels reruns than a reality show.

I think the TV Land Awards ruined them. It was fun the first time, but all this original programing since then makes it no fun.

I did like the documentaries like TV Land Moguls, Inside TV Land, Top 10 was even ok. Everything else is pretty lame.

Oh, and the Alan Brady Show special stunk. It was a good idea, but it just didn't work.

here we go; ANOTHER thread bashing TV LAND! (not that they don't deserve it)

I'll just add one thing that I read: they do read all the complaints about them, and every once in a while do something about them. The fact that in recent years they've brought back "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" and "HOGANS HEROES" is proof of that. Sadly though, they shred them to ribbons-they've even stopped showing the classic closing of "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES".

When TVLand abandoned their classic TV format it was the beginning of the end. That station is a sad joke. Dont forget they take out at least three to five minutes of a show to make more room for commericals.

Thanks for letting us fans of classic TV down, TVLand

Anyone see the Good Times episode "Florida's Protest"? Where Florida gets some bad meat from Borgens Market. Anyhoo

Borgens is like TVLand--giving viewers bad stuff
The Manager reminds me of TVTheLink --giving people the runaround
Florida is the viewers just wanting the good stuff

I would like to hear anyones elses thoughts on this.

No matter what network The Cougar is on, it's a trashy, disgusting idea. Wasn't this tried on ABC once...Old Women after some young guy?

Anyway...I was baffled with the CSI:NY marathon. Love the show, but there's no way I'd watch it on TVL.
