TV It's SitcomsOnline in the year 2049!

I thought this would be a cool idea for a thread. Pretend it's 2049 and SO has just celebrated its 50th anniversary!

American Idol season 48 has certainly been interesting so far with Sanjaya, Britney Spears, and Simon Cowell's head presiding as judges. I'm also still in shock that Ryan Seacrest finally decided to come out of the closet last season.

I'm still mouring The Simpsons, which ended its 59-season run last year. I know they really wanted to make it to 60, but the show hasn't been the same since Matt Groening left the show in 2037.

I think the Red Sox have a chance of winning their 20th straight World Series!

I also can't believe Snuggies and ShamWows are so commonplace. Remember how we used to make fun of them?

Oh yeah, and it looks like I finally made to 100,000 posts; meanwhile, Cactus Jack is just about 250 posts away from 1,000,000,000

ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO 1 MILLION!

Wow! Never thought this would happen

I also never thought that me, TF,Joe,Lynn, and Kelsey all became co administrators, and that I would be FORUM OVERLORD!, still am

I have a new username which is my 25th now because of the rule we chnaged to have more than 11 usernames on SO in total.

It looks like White Daisy came back but was too confused by who everyone was and left.

Nate came back too, no Nate's son, who's just like Nate only he's dating Target and prefers Skittles.

I still hate Snuggies, but the wife still brought me one for my birthday AND Christmas

- Macys parade celebrated its 123rd march into Herald Square. Flying motorists were aggravated that AIR traffic was diverted to accomodate the parade route but extra precautions have been taken since last years mid-air collision between a Toyota SkyPilot and a Shrek balloon made for its 25th sequel.

- Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clarks head were caught in an on air spat as to who would give the official Rockin' New Year's Eve countdown.

-
- Miracle On 34th Street celebrated its 102nd anniversary with a sequel through advanced CGI technology. The plot was taken from a recently uncovered script the late John Payne completed just before his death in 1989. Maureen O'Hara, John Payne, Natalie Wood and Edmund Gwenn reprised their roles through CGI. This will be the 5th old film to have a sequel since the trend of digitally recreating actors began 10 years ago with the sequel to Gone With The Wind on its 100th anniversary.

40 years onward, and I still have no clue *what* a Snuggie is. Enjoying retirement, though.

Unfortunately, I died last year.

But that didn't stop me from coming to Sitcoms Online!!! I'm up here (yes, Up Here!), sitting around with my Computer. This really *is* Heaven. So what's it like down there for the living? Not as good as up here, I bet!

Has "'Til Death" ended yet? That Brad Garrett's still going strong. And before I died it was still on. So what's the status?

Still no flying cars? Still no personal jet packs? The future is overrated!

Willard Scott's and Al Roker's successor is wishing me a happy 100th birthday on the Today show in that Smucker's frame.

Solomon is in a retirement home and complaining from a rocking chair about McDonald's, Pizza Hut and the NFL. He DOES still wear the green Snuggie Janice bought him in '09.

Talking

ABlairican Pie is still discussing the year 2029 in his Rock and Roll History--err, FUTURE thread!!!

That year, President Mustaine will discuss plans to unveil the new national anthem to the United States of Amerikhastan!!! That is, after the former building site of the United (Abomi)Nations which is now a Girl Scout Cookie Mega-Outlet and sells back copies of Chicken Soup For the Deth-Metalhead's Soul.

In other news, Suri Cruise and Moonchilde Marie Presley XIV (great-great-great granddaughter of 'The King of Rock and Roll) will be married in a Scientology wedding on the Home Base of Alpha Centauri, where the holographic image of the heir to the Dianetics empire, Suri's father Tom, will perform the ceremony.

And happy birthday to Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richard, who just celebrated his 734th birthday!!! Doesn't look a day over 692!!!

I moved to the United Kingdom in 2034. King William has been doing a much better job than his dad, who gave away Scotland in 2026. Who'd have ever thought that Haley Joel Osment would grow up to become the American ambassador?

Whoever would have guessed that Britney Spears' sons wuold grow up to be such respected scientists who found the cures for almost every major illness? The only thing they still haven't found a cure for is making Billy Mays speak softer.
