Default i can't accept

tastes are tastes I know but I can not accept being the only one who loved the seasons after the 7th.

OK I admit that the first few seasons (especially the first two) are historical, but I continue to love the series.

but you you really so disgustin after the 7th season?

sorry but I can not understand why ...

Thumbs down

For me, it's a simple Reason why I don't like the last Seasons much:

Ralph is gone.
Richie is gone.
The Gang isn't there anymore.

And with that, the Show wasn't the same anymore.

That's my Opinion.

I've always stated that I actually prefer the last four seasons over most of the rest of the series - especially over the two or three seasons that preceeded.

I can agree on Richie but Ralph (and potsie) can do without it.

Sure I miss Richie & Ralph, but I find the last 4 seasons still enjoyable (Potsie and Fonzie were still there, that's all that mattered to me). Someone posted a lot of the seasons 8-11 episodes on YouTube, I watched all of them and liked them.

i liked all of the seasons, but there were a number of clunkers in each season that i didn't like much - especially the musical episodes, never liked those.

I love the episoides that featured Joanie and Chachi's relationship! As far as the episoides being put on You Tube, they were all taken down today.

Joanie and Chachi, my favorite!

I like very much, however, Richie and Fonzie.

the difference is that, Fonzie and Richie are among the most famous and popular, even though it is Joanie less.

Chachi is more a my personal preference (maybe for this the more I take into account) is less obvious, to me, as favorite, usually is loved by more females than by males.

I liked the seasons 8,9 and 11 better than season 6 for example, in alot of the season 6 shows just seemed a little stupid, like Fonzie and the claw, the evil eye, Fonzie's funeral, they seemed to be stretching for ideas, Season 7 seemed alot better, they went back to the old format, and they started using an older and more interesting Joanie and Chachi a little more which gave them more stories to work with . ( I just don't comment on season 10 because that was just plain horrible!)

I am not saying that all of the episoides from season 8 were great some were real stinkers, but for me, I was getting really tired of it being Richie, Ralph and Potsie, getting into trouble with girls or bad guys and the Fonz had to bale them out.

Please don't get me wrong, I loved Richie, and as for Ralph and Potsie, they were great, but when you supposed to be 20 or 21 years old and you are still up to the same antics that you did when you were in high school it just isn't as funny. In the last season we saw a 20 year old Chachi, and he wasn't getting into the same trouble. He was facing things that the average 20 year old faces... not wanting to work, sleeping in, not really sure what to do in life... etc, but we saw him grow up and take charge of his life, I felt that Ralph and Potsie never did that.

Instead I have loved Richie only during the first 5 seasons.

in seasons 6-7 but I liked a lot less.

I know why Ron Howard left the show but if you do not know why that is gone now because the character of applicants was collapsing.

Fonzie has never collapsed instead.

I was especially disappointed the couple Richie - Lorybeth.

The Guys were in HighSchool. Then in College. *Break* In Season 11, Richie and Ralph, coming back from the Army, decide to become a Writer and an Eye Doctor. Potsie was still in College, but always had Jobs to be able to pay for everything. So, YES, they were ADULTS then.

It was maybe Easy-Thinking from the Writers, but it was okay. At least, they did write something for them.

And I'm not saying that because I love Potsie and Ralph. But because I see it that Way.
