Buffalo FINALLY showed some onions.

They have not made the playoffs since Chan Gailey was coaching your Boys, Sonny.

I think the Bills were tired of not making the playoffs.

Also, Buffalo has not had any decent recievers since Andre Reed retired.

Well good luck. They only gave him a one year deal in case he causes any trouble. I think that was smart of them. I figured the only teams that would be interested in him would be teams that don't have anything to lose. I didn't think all that talk about him going to the Titans was real.

Condolences?

Dude, Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs since I was in middle school. I'm tired of seeing the same old Bills- they were in a rut, and when you're in a rut, you have to do something different.

Well I can't really blame you. If your team isn't competing then you have to try something. I just hope they're careful with him. T.O. wasn't that bad until he signed his big contract with us. I'd keep him on a one year contract indeffinately.

To me a one year deal only makes sense with these teams below because they will most likely be competing for a SB trophy

Pats
Colts

For teams like the Bills, Raiders, or Browns, he shouldn't be accepting nothing less than 2 years

Bills sign dynamic WR Owens

Chris Brown, Lead Journalist
Posted 8 minutes ago

Bills fans get your popcorn ready. With Bills owner Ralph Wilson stating last season that his team was in need of more talent, took a big step in solving that issue with the signing of veteran wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Released by the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week, Buffalo swooped in to sign the talented wideout that is coming off the ninth 1,000-yard receiving season in the last 11 years.

Buffalo was in need of another proven weapon on the offensive side of the ball and hosted free agents like Laveranues Coles and Joey Galloway. Owens production on the field is far and away better than what either of the previous two visitors have been able to muster.

Where he’ll help most is in the scoring department. Owens has recorded double digit touchdowns three of the last four seasons, with 10 TDs last season for Dallas. He’ll also pull attention away from top wideout Lee Evans and force defensive backfields to make difficult decisions on a weekly basis.

I agree. If anyone thinks by signing MEO it's going to get them a trip to the superbowl, I feel sorry for them. In fact I feel sorry for the Bills-lol

Owens inks 1-year, $6.5M deal with Bills

By John Clayton

It didn't take long for T.O. to find a new home.

Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to a source.

"I'm leaving America's team [for] North America's team," Owens said at a news conference in Buffalo in Saturday.

The entire contract is guaranteed, the source said.

The Bills will be Owens' fourth team, after starting with San Francisco, bouncing to Philadelphia -- where he helped the Eagles get to a Super Bowl -- and Dallas.

"I must move on, and it's another beginning for me," Owens said. "If I can be that extra added piece to get them to the playoffs, then that's what I'm here for. I looked at the defensive side of ball and offensive side of the ball, and these guys have all the pieces."

Owens visited the Bills on Saturday. He was released by the Dallas Cowboys late Wednesday.

The Cowboys paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus last year, which was included as part of a new four-year, $34 million deal. Dallas took a roughly $9 million salary-cap hit when it released Owens.

There has been talk since the end of the Cowboys' 9-7 season, in which they missed the playoffs, that they would consider cutting Owens to improve locker room morale.

Owens finished with more catches (69), receiving yards (1,052) and touchdowns (10) last season than any player on the Bills' roster.

The Bills were in need of a receiver to take the pressure off Lee Evans. They got one of the biggest names out there.

The question now is how T.O. will deal with Trent Edwards, who is entering only his second full year as starter. Owens has made life difficult for quarterbacks in the past and joins an offense that struggled mightily last year.

Coach Dick Jauron has often complained about the Bills' lack of scoring punch, but this represents a serious change in philosophy for a team that in the past has tried to avoid taking on disruptive locker room personalities.

The signing acquisition for the Bills since acquiring Drew Bledsoe in a trade in 2002.

Buffalo certainly needs a boost. The Bills have missed the playoffs for nine straight seasons, the longest drought in team history. The Bills are also coming off three straight 7-9 finishes under Jauron, who was retained by the team after his three-year contract expired at the end of the season.

John Clayton is a senior writer for ESPN.com. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

The Bills don't have a good Qb, MEO won't make a difference.
