1. A writers strike led to CBS holding 2nd season episodes back and airing during Season 3.
2. When I reference "other CBS sitcoms", I mean Alice, One Day at a Time and The Jeffersons
3. CBS aired movies/specials/SuperBowl on 11/01/1981, 11/22/1981, 12/13/1981, 01/24/1982 and 02/14/1982.
4. Repeats of Growing Up is Hard to Do Part 1 and 2 aired on 04/18/1982 and 04/25/1982.

www.imdb.com has the correct info. www.tvtome.com and www.epguides.com/ArchieBunkersPlace do not have the episodes listed in airdate order.

The Gloria pilot is not the same one that aired. O'Connor's production company provided a backdoor Gloria pilot (the Archie Bunker's Place episode) which began with Archie driving Gloria to her new job and meeting Burgess Meredith. CBS was unhappy with the pilot as shot, commissioned a new, altered pilot and then planned to edit the Archie scene at the beginning from the ABP version to their new version. O'Connor, who liked the original version, absolutely refused to sell them the footage for that purpose. So the Gloria pilot that aired on CBS was the newer version with no appearance by Carroll O'Connor. The Archie Bunker's Place episode in syndication was the original backdoor pilot CBS did not choose to air, which includes the O'Connor appearance.
