I love 1960s music.

There were some real steps forward made in the 1960s.

The Bee Gees' career started, with their first proper album being released in 1967, although they'd been recording songs as far back as late 1959, with their first record deal being made in 1963. It was in 1967 that they became famous, though.

Cool

There were some great TV Shows in the 60's, including my favorite "The Dick Van Dyke Show". The 60's is also my favorite decade for music. Oh! and the best thing about the 60's? I was born!!!

Maybe someone out there can help me with this...

I don't know if he was from the 60s or the 70s but he was a very famous anti-war demonstrator. He was known for wearing the American flag and his colorful shirts.
I believe he was also shown in the film Forest Gump when Tom Hanks speaks at one of his rallys.

Anyone know who I am talking about?

First off that just made my day

Second we got some great TV shows from the 60's including the one above. About 70% of the TV shows I like were from the 60's.

Also you could see rock and roll on prime time thanks to Shindig and Hullabaloo
