Default What kind of music do you guys listen to?

Just curious. A lot of "Facts" fans have other interests in common. Thought it would be fun to find out.

I love dance music / pop music / classic '80s but I must say I'm not a big fan of today's pop music. I like the creative over the contrived orchestrated pop image.

I'm a huge Laura Branigan fan! I was really sad when she passed away.I also love Abba and Kylie. All kinds of new wave '80s music and classic '80s stuff like Altered Images, The Waitresses, Irene Cara, Berlin.

I'm also Italian so I listen to a lot of Italian pop music more than anything.

What do you guys listen to?

I love listening to country music, especially Toby Keith songs and I've recently gotten into Taylor Swift's music. Love Story and White Horse are my two current favorite songs by her . I also like old 80s music and other oldies bands like The Beatles.

I've recently gotten into singer Adele. Her debut album is very cool and full of great lyrics. I just love that she's different and not trying to fit into a popstar mold like so many others out there right now.

WOWOW! Lol

ABBA is my favorite group of all time. They're pretty much ALL I listen to. And have listened to for the past 7 years. Crazy. I'm actually starting an ABBA tribute band....I have almost all the musicians that I need.

Occasionally I listen to Bon Jovi and Cher. But it's 95% of the time, ABBA.

Wow! A lot of similar tastes to mine on here. I also love Cyndi and Pat Benatar as well. I've seen them both live. Great shows!

Abba rocks! They always have. I am a HUGE Kylie Minogue fan and she is a huge fan of Abba. A lot of musical connections. In her movie "White Diamond", she has a picture of them in her dressing room.

FOLrocks1, have you ever heard Abbacadabra? It's cover band that turns all Abba songs into dance anthems. Kylie recently covered "The Winner Takes It All" with her sister Dannii. It was also covered by Laura Branigan prior to her death. One of my favorite versions of the song.

The Abba Tribute Band sounds great! Good Luck!

I like OLD COUNTRY (Im sorry but the new stuff is awful)

I also like a lot of 80s tunes, and Indie Music.

I collect most of my music on vinyl records. I prefer the way they sound, and you get bigger artwork.

I like many different types of music. I love classic rock and pop like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Chicago, The Bee Gees, Genesis (Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins's solo work as well), The Doors, The Rolling Stones and so on. There are also several country artists that I love, especially Martina McBride and Sara Evans. I like some classical music like Mozart. I also have quite a few soundtracks and my favorite film composers include Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry and Bernard Herrmann.

I'll listen to just about anything except for classical music. I love classic rock, 80's music, pop/rock and some of todays country. My radio stations consist of classic rock hits of the 80's 90's and today, and then the top 40 stations.

I listen to pretty much everything. I don't like country music much at all. I like the country music that was popular in the 60's-80's, but today's country music just doesn't do much for me.

I love dance music, Enya, Harry Connick Jr, The Beach Boys, Amy Grant, 80's dance/rock/pop, 40's and 50's hits, Michael Bubble... almost anything.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but...
I listen to lots of different kinds of music. I'll listen to almost anything but rap/hip-hop. I especially love Martina Mcbride, folk music, and musical soundtracks, as well as Alison Krauss and Union Station, and some oldies (Simon and Garfunkel).

I never understand how people can say they listen to "everything". Thats impossible And Country music is great! I love Country. I like more Alt Country though. Mainstream music is mostly garbage in any genre.

Dance music.. no comment.
