In one episode, I recall a very funny scene in which Niles is in Frasier's apartment, and he encounters a bunch of mishaps. At one point, he runs across the apartment with a pair of scissors in his hands, and remembers to turn them upside down so he won't get hurt if he falls. Does anyone recall which ep this is, and from what season?
Thanks! |

I do recall this scene, but I honestly have no idea as to which episode it is from.

That reminds me of an episode of Cheers. Frasier was running around the bar with scissors in his hand yelling "look Mom I'm running with scissors".

That would be the classic "Three Valentines" from Season 6. Niles is preparing for a date at Frasier's apartment (everyone else was out on their own 'dates'). It all began with Niles trying to iron a crease out of his pants...What follows has been called one of the funniest scenes in television history. The most amazing thing? There is very little dialogue, and it was done in just a few takes. Wonderful performance from DHP.

That is a brilliant and hilarious scene! Absolutely loved DHP/Niles! He was just... well... Brilliant! Reminded me of a Charlie Chaplin silent film!
