Tales from the Crypt ended a long time ago.

The series ran from 1989-1996 and all 7 seasons are on DVD.

There's also three motion pictures that you can find on DVD; Demon Knight, Bordello of Blood, and Ritual.

I'm unfamiliar with Nite Tales.

Edit - Nite Tales came to DVD on Feb. 2009

Yeah, I need to catch up on my collection as well. Been getting other things that I sort of put Tales on the back-burner.

I have the 1st season and the three movies.

I haven't really the tv show dvd or movies in stores. I will probably order off Amazon. I liked the tv show a lot more than movies. I'll probably buy the tv show dvd sets first before the movies.

I remember a while ago seeing the Tales DVD sets in Circuit City, Virgin, and FYE. Also, some local video stors near me do have them for sale.

I guess I bought the movies first because I didn't/or couldn't give the $20.00-$30.00 at the time. Also, when Circuit City liquidated I bought other things that I wanted to catch up on.

I liked Demon Knight a lot; Billy Zane was great in it.

Bordello of Blood was good for its camp value; not a great movie by any means.

Ritual is hit or miss depending on who you ask. Some people loved it and some people hated it. I personally though it was "ok".

I will definitely check out the FYE stores in my area. FYE tends to have great selections of horror/thriller tv shows and movies.
