Ed McMahon is currently in poor health in intensive
care with a bevy of ailments. Of course, everyone remembers his work on the TONIGHT SHOW and STAR SEARCH, but he also hosted and/or announced numerous game shows in his long career. He HOSTED "MISSING LINKS," and "SNAP JUDGMENT" on NBC. He also filled in as host for a long period of time on CONCENTRATION in the sixties when Hugh Downs had a bad car crash and hurt his neck. As ANNOUNCER, he worked with Sam Levenson on TWO FOR THE MONEY, and, of course, with JOHNNY CARSON on WHO DO YOU TRUST/DO YOU TRUST YOUR WIFE? |
