An attic but unfinished and only about 4 feet high at its highest. No basement.

I do like houses with a big, walk-in attic.

Attic, but I've always wanted a basement like the one on That 70's show.

I have both, but I don't think the attic is more of a tiny crawl spce that can only be accessed by ladder.

My grandma had one of those big walk-in attics that could be converted into another bedroom and den.

We have both, which is very rare in TX, most people in TX have attics only.

Both, but I'm sure the attic is small and for small critters only. Not sure because I'm never going up there.

Any house in this part of the country with no basement should be unfit for living in.

I wish I had both in the house I'm living in now!! I think it's rare for homes in Fla. to have a basement because of the hurricanes and the fear of flooding from them. The attic I have(if you can call it that) is one that other people are mentioning, the one that's just a crawl space, that you access from a pull down ladder. I would never try to get up in there though!!

The house I lived at as a kid in NJ we had both an attic & basement. This house had a big attic, there was a doorway on the side of the closet in my bedroom, and there were a set of stairs that you climbed to get to the attic. I remember spending countless hours playing up there. I would LOVE to have something like that now!!
