I need help my friends think I'm crazy! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

ok im looking for the name of a sitcom done in the late 80's to early 90's i think. Its about a man and a women and 3 kids. I beleive the moms name is carlie and the dads is jack. no sure though. they have 3 kids the oldest is a girl maybe 17 blonde hair, next a boy dark hair maybe 14, and then a young girl. The womans ex husband appears sometimes on the show to come pick up his kids and i believe he is a lawyer. The man's ex wife also appears and she is in a tv soap opera. i beleive they live in an apartment in New york. Please help if this seams even sorta close. My friends think im CRAZY!

You are not crazy. The series is called SOMETHING SO RIGHT. It aired for two seasons a few years back. One on NBC and one short run on ABC. Jere Burns and Mel Harris starred. I believe USA NETWORK still shows reruns of SOMETHING SO RIGHT weekday mornings at 9 A.M.
