Jeopardy 2-23-09 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I dont remember every detail but this is basically what happened. Heading in to final Jeopardy the leader had $21,600. The person in second who was the returning champ had $10,800. The leader missed the answer but bet zero. The person in second got it right but instead of betting it all which would have given her a tie she bet something less and lost. Why in the heck wouldnt she bet it all? She had zero to gain by not doing it because of course the guy in first was going to bet nothing. How can somebody be smart enough to win 2 shows but not be able to count? I was stunned

Sometimes people on Jeopardy, as smart as they may be, have no common sense
