American Beauty. I never could figure out why some people fawned all over it. I hated it!!

American Beauty is the only movie I ever walked out of the theater on - and I've seen LOTS of crappy movies.

American Beauty was a brilliant piece of work. Great acting, great direction, amazing script. I think that it was second only to Eyes Wide Shut as the best movie of 1999.

All due respect Mike, I have to agree to disagree with you here. Never saw Eyes Wide Shut - because I can't stomach Tom Cruise.

"E.T., THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL"; there are some people who love it, but I hate it; I think it's one of the worst movies ever.

Now, I think this is a good movie with the cast, direction, and settings, but I don't see what is so unbelievably good about The Godfather. I've known some people saying this movie changed their lives. I'm like I hope you mean in the sense that the mafia is not glamorous.

I did see ET on the big screen for its 20th anniversary (I was barely 3 when it was first released), and I've never understood the appeal myself. To each his own, I guess.

Any of the Star Wars films. Frankly I think George Lucas should have retired after American Graffiti

Any films with Will Farrell, Adam Sandler, Tina Fey, Chris Farley, or anybody that has been on Saturday Night Livein the last 25 years.

I agree. I don't so much mind Tina Fey, but I do agree with the rest of those people. I'd also add Ben Stiller to that list. Not sure how these movies are considered "comedy."

I'm also not a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
