Anyone remember The Who What or Where Game, which ran on NBC from December 1969 to January 1974? The show, hosted by Art James, was also known as "The 3Ws" and part of a one-two quiz show punch in the noon hour on the East coast with the original Jeopardy. The announcer was former Dream House host Mike Darrow, who substituted for James as host when he was ill. The 3Ws had a semi-revival in the 90s as "The Challengers", hosted by Dick Clark.

I remember it.It aired right after the original version of "Jeopardy!"(with the late Art Fleming)and until "The Young and the Restless"practically dominated that time slot ,was a ratings powerhouse. And why they changed the music for the final round, which was similar to "Jeopardy's""Final Jeopardy!"round,(the round, not the music)towards the end of its 5 year(1969-1974)run,I'll never know.

I remember when I was a kid seeing this show only once with a fuzzy picture, since the local NBC affiliate didn't carry it. I had to watch it from an NBC affiliate about 100 miles away, and the picture wasn't that clear. Fortunately I got the one existing episode, from around December 1970, on videotape in a trade years ago, and now that same episode can be seen on You Tube. Thanks to You Tube, I've also gotten to exchange messages with one of the contestants from that same show, who was very nice and willing to share her reminiscences with me. Now it's been just over 40 years since that particular show was taped and aired.

I also remember the 3 W's. Similar to Jeopardy, it was one of my favorite game shows along with Three On A Match with Bill Cullen. Only one episode of the 3 W's still exists? That is very sad, but at least something is still available for viewing. What were these network execs thinking when they erased all these great old game shows? My god, those clowns must have been insane. Had these shows been preserved, GSN could be airing them. I'd be watching that's for sure.

Instead of these consistent Millionaire clones, why don't producers try revivals of these game shows?
