the ep when Alan Willis was dating the daughter of the white banker who didn't want Alan dating his daughter anymore because he was half black but George was always so vocal about not wanting Lionel to date Jenny because she was half white.

He looked a true hypocrite in this episode

I can't recall this episode, but why should George care about who a Willis go out with?

Just for the record, I never understood why that had Jenny and Alan as blood children to Tom and Helen. Why couldn't Jenny be Helen's from a previous marriage, and Alan be Tom's from his past relationship?

Because Alan was living with the Jeffersons and he starting dating the daughter of the Guy who george was trying to do business with. So when the white banker admitted he didn't want his daughter going out with Alan because he was part black, george then gets mad and throws the guy out and then told alan I was only standing up for PART of you, the Black part.

so it pretty much gave the message that it;s ok for black people to be racist but not white people-lol
