Lightbulb Things you like, but other people don't understand the appeal.

thunderstorms- I just find something so romantic about a good Summer thunderstorm. I love watching them out the window while drinking a cup of tea. Of course, I wouldn't want them daily.

chick lit- I know some people call them fluff and a waste, but I enjoy reading them. I'll take a good romantic comedy over a murder mystery or thriller or drama.

Croc shoes- I find them very comfy and a nice alternative to flip flops, which I find hard to walk in and hurt my feet after awhile.

Country music- I started to listen a few years ago and I absolutely love it. I've had some poeple make fun of me for liking it, but I don't care. It seems like more people are going country.

board games- I think they're fun to play and make for a nice, inexpensive evening.

American Dad - The only reason why people hate it is because it seems to be stuck in the shadow of Family Guy. I get the feeling that most of the people that hated the series only ever saw the pilot after the 05 Superbowl.

Old TV Shows-my friends are around my age(mid 30's), so we werent alive when the show I like aired, and dont get why I dig most shows before the 1970's, and why I dislike a lot of shows from the 80's on

Records-I hear this from time time(not from my friends), "this is the digital age", "records are for old people", "I didnt know they still made records", "whats a record"?, "Dude, get an ipod"!!!

I love thunderstorms too. We could really use one right now in the Texas Hill country. We are in a severe drought.

I like thunderstorms, too. I actually think it's pretty common for people to like them. I know a lot of people who do.

This is so random but...I like to take notes in class. I just like to write. I like the feel of the pen and writing words. Most people hate taking notes.

Old shows...all of my friends are into reality shows and all of that crap that most kids my age watch, but I've always loved old sitcoms and real quality tv, not half of the crap that's on today.

M*A*S*H- It's a classic show, one of the best(not just because I think so) and most people my age, early 20's, are like "What's that?" "Is that the old war show?" "Aren't all those people dead now?" Morons

The old stuff makes up the bulk of my television disc collection. A lot of people would have it lined with season releases of "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Raymond," and all that other junk of the '90's and today (of course, the word "junk" is subjective; what I think is junk might not be junk to others, and vice versa), but a good "Hawaii Five-O" or "Mary Tyler Moore" beats those any day, at least to me.

I love MASH too. Beats the current stuff that's on.

I also love Wings, even though it was never as popular as Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers, and the other megahits of that era. I never could understand why critics always hated it. Yet, they sing the phrases of Everybody Loves Raymond, The Office, and 30 Rock...
