Default Lent

It's that time we shall give up something between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday.

This year...it will be forum blogging. So that means...I won't be heard from for a few weeks and I'll be working on my scripts.

I made that into a New Years Resolution, but because I have been depressed for a few days, I stopped writing scripts for awhile.

Good question. I've been thinking about it, but I can't decide. I'll keep you posted.

it only counts if you celebrate CARNIVAL first.

I'll miss seeing you post.

I don't know what I'm giving up. Maybe I'll try not to complain during Lent. It's going to be a long 40 days...

Seriously though, I'm going to attempt it. I think people in general find it too easy to complain and too difficult to compliment. That's not what Jesus would do.

I've decided that except for the occasional email, I am going to be giving up the internet for Lent. It's going to be very difficult because going 40 days without posting here and on the other websites I visit is going to be nearly impossible. However, I want to spend the extra time reading and getting to know myself, God and Jesus better. And getting to know Jesus better is what Lent is all about.

Hey, girl... I applaud you on that... I think it's so wonderful when people actually take time to think during Lent about what they can do to be more Christlike. It takes a lot of strength... so I'll be praying for you!

I'm giving up liver and onions, fruitcake, being mean to my cats, and I'll think of a few others.

Just kidding. I don't give up anything. I'm a bad Catholic.
