Talking Am I Weird? I'd rather listen to heart's Crazy On You Than Beyonce's I'm A Diva?

I have found myself preferring heart's "Crazy On You" over beyonce's "I'ma Diva." In fact, I was listening to I'm a Diva by Beyonce, and i turned it off and listened to Crazy On You, and preffered it a lot...... I think it might be considered "weird" for my age to prefer heart's music to beyonce... I am 24, and beyonce's music is geared to around my age. I wasn't even born when Crazy on You was a hit...... "Let me go crazy on you, crazy, crazy, on you, I was a willow last night in my dream, I bent down ovwer a clear running stream" is what i'd rather hear then 'i'm a diva, i'm a diva, i'm a diva, a diva is the female version of a hustler, I'm a hustler, i'm a hustler...."

nah, heart is better than beyonce. on the other hand, it might be weird of me to prefer fergie's version of "barracude" over heart's original. i was expecting it to suck but her voice just sounds better.

I'll take Heart ANY DAY over Beyonce. Ever heard Heart's cover of Zeppelin's "Rock & Roll"? I think it's even better than Zep's version!!

My feelings exactly!! I once bought my younger brother the Essential Heart for his birthday - he still listens to it almost every day.

No, you're not weird. I'm also 24 but I think most modern music sucks and listen to oldies stations. One of my pet peeves on American Idol is how they have to make it contemporary and are blasted if they sound old-fashioned. Being newer does NOT make it better.

I like Beyonce more than Heart, but I like "Crazy" more than "Diva."

I've loved Heart for over 30 years but I can't stand 30 seconds of Beyonce.

It makes sense to me. Beyonce has made a couple of songs I like, but I really think she is overrated.

Ditto - I like a few of the songs she did with Destiny's Child, but I never really saw what the big deal is about her.

Agreed! Plus, I love Nancy, too! Seriously, how does Beyonce Knowles even compare to them?
