Lucky Charms 'Lucky" Got A Makeover! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Has anyone noticed that "Lucky" from Lucky Charms cereal got a makeover?

He went from looking like a 7 year old to a teenager.....

He looks a lot better nowawadays!

I don't have the picture, but I saw Lucky on a commercial for Lucky Charms (2008) and he looked older than a commercial that aired around the 80's)....

Here's what Sonny looked like in the 60's....

Now here's Sonny today....

All I have to say is...WTF?!

Sonny wore a striped-shirt for all these years and in 2004...he goes full-frontal? Why? Is it because he looks like a Jailbird so they just said "**** it, let's make this bird go naked". Now I think it's funny when some cartoon characters wind-up into the 'Barnyard Nudity' scenario like Donald Duck or Porky Pig, but Sonny was better when he wore his striped-shirt.

I used to love Lucky Charms. But about five years ago I just couldn't bring myself to eat a whole bowl. They had become disgusting. To this day I can't eat the stuff.

I think there is slight difference in Lucky's appearance... seen more heavily in person, of course.

My family says it looks like he had some minor plastic surgery to grow up.

If you ask me, I think he's lost some weight too!
