Hello, I'm a first-generation GG fan. I started watching the show when it debuted and I know so much about it. However, there can be too many things to remember because everything is wonderful.
Which episode is this line found in? The scene is with Blanche telling one of her stories or situations and then she ends it with a piece of her southern arrogance by saying, ".....and everyone else on the plantation." I think she was building it into a charitable or thoughtful kind of story, but at the last moment she ends it by displaying some of her southern-upper class snobbery/superiority. |

I'm usually pretty good at picking out the episode by just one line, but not this time. Sorry. Anyone else? I just can't remember from which episode this is.

It sounds like it might be from the episode where Big Daddy visits. I remember her saying something about the women drinking mint juleps and exchanging award winning pecan pie recipes.

Hello All!
I am new here. I was wondering if anyone knew what episode Sophia said, "I'm depressed, I need a cookie." I know they were in the living room... Thank you!

I am posting this message pretty much just to welcome you to the board. I am sure that you will have a lot of fun here! One thing that I would be interested in is what other sitcoms beside the "Golden Girls" that you like so I could tell you where to look for other posts that you might be interested in reading! |

I don't know, but I love when Blanche says: In the south women tend to mature faster, I think its the heat! and Dorothy says: I think its the GIN!
