Fran Ryan and Irene Ryan
Does anyone know if character actress Fran Ryan, who played the second Doris Ziffel on Green Acres, was the sister of Irene Ryan? For some reason I always thought they were sisters, but was reading Irenes bio in The Beverly Hillbillies, and Ryan was Irene's husband's last name. (she was divorced) Since Ryan wasn't her birthname, maybe I'm mistaken.

They weren't related unless it was through Irene's husband, Tim Ryan.

I agree. Irene had one sister by the name of Anna Thompson (married name) whom she is interred next to in Santa Monica.
