overall i liked the movie but ive always wondered about one secne near the end its the part where freddie is wanting to take acting lessons and so he asks this acting teacher to teacher to help him and the teacher refuses to even consider giving him lessons ive been wondering did that really happen or was that some piece of fiction that they added to the movie ?

The movie is not a true depiction of freddies life. If you get the book "The Freddie Prinze Story" written by freds mother, you will get a better look at Freddie's life. For example Freddie's secretary Carol was his second secretary. His first secretary quit because freds wife Kathy came on the scene. Then Kathy's friend Carol became fred's secretary. The movie just shows Carol as his secretary, tells a different story of how they met.

I never cared for the movie. I think they were out to show the darker side of Freddie instead of showcasing his talent and the fact that he was a very caring individual. I think it would have been nice to see a positive movie about him.

Yeah, the movie shows his darker side. It is so sad, it'll have you crying at the end when he dies. His moms book should've been made into a movie. Would've been better...

i read somewhere that erik estrada was asked to play freddie in the movie but he heard freddie's mom didn't approve of the movie and he refused to be any part of it.
the lady that played aunt connie on CATM she was an estrada i wonder if there';s any chance they were related? |
