Default I still want to know why Julio wasn't in episodes with Bubba and Esther?

He was in only one episode with Grady and Rollo. Man, did the writers miss a beat with this one! You have the total package of characters, and you don't show them all at once. I especially wanted to see Julio and Esther together.

I know I mentioned this in the past, but I just wanted to get a new discussion going.

I know that Fred and Lamont were the only real regular characters (at least they were the only ones you saw every single episode), but I do wish they'd mixed things up more. An episode with Julio, Rollo, Esther and Bubba altogether would've been golden!!

Just imagine Julio and Esther together in the room with Fred!

Fred: (seeing Julio and Esther together) "Well what do we have here, a tortilla, and a gorilla!" LOL

So, if Julio & Esther had a baby, it would be a "Torilla"!

It would have been fun to see all of them together. The interaction would have been interesting. But, as much as the actors in this series argued over money, I'm sure that the budget wouldn't allow all of them to be in the same episodes.
Footnote: Lamont was the only character to appear in every episode of Sanford & Son!

Lamont was smart to stay out of that episode "The Oddfather". The worst ep besides the Hawaiian Trilogy, imo.

It would've been fun to see Esther take Julio's side against Fred and vice-versa. That would''ve been interesting.
