Thumbs up Frozen River

Has anyone seen this yet? I can't recommend it enough. I've seen it twice now, and I think it's easily one of the year's best. Last year it won the Sundance Grand Jury Prize, and this year Melissa Leo is up for an Oscar for it.

Movie

Based on our compatibility in movies and tv, I just added Frozen River to my Netflix que. Tonight, we wrap up Season 4 of Desperate Housewives. Did it in two weeks. Would have done it faster, but Netflix couldn't keep up, lol. We'll catch up on our movies for a few weeks, then start in on Melrose Place, again on your recommendation. As much as I love, love, love Desperate Housewives, I've got soap drama up to my eyeballs, lol. Can't wait for the DH cliffhanger tonight. Pavan promises a fantastic one!

Oh good, I think you'll like it. Yeah, I can generally do a season of a show within 2-3 weeks, but with Melrose Place I can do it in about a week to a week and a half. Just remember when watching MP, the first half of the first season is not really comparable to the rest of the series. It's pretty much a good introduction to the characters, and after that all the good stuff starts happening!

^ You are aware we did four seasons of DH in two weeks? We were insane, pulling all-nighters, lol. It was worth it. How many seasons are there of Melrose Place?

Oh wow, no I wasn't. Though, if it weren't for school, I'd be doing that, too! There are 7 seasons of Melrose, but what sucks is they aren't all released yet. Season 5, Volume 1 was released yesterday. I hope they are quick with the remaining sets!
