In the episode "Drinking And Jiving" when Laura got really drunk and Steve took her home they both sat on the sofa, and suddenly Laura gave Steve a very passionately kiss and they both faint. The next morning when Steve mentioned they kissed Laura says she doesn't remember and doesn't believe him.

She had feelings for Steve, everyone knows that, but still, why did she kiss him all of a sudden or was it because she was so drunk?

Does Laura pretending not to remember they kissed. Or doesn't she remember it.

When Max asks "You remember the kiss?" and Laura says "Oh yeah", then Max asks "And you liked it?" and Laura says "Ooooh yeah."

Could someone explain these things.
