Post I Pay Three Of Them

I do; pay three of my bills online (hbc, visa and bell); and have been doing so for quite some time. It's easy and convenient better than mailing my payments or going through the bank; just log in to my bank site, and pay them off. I just love technology; we can do so much on computers now.

Nothing against paying bills online, but I would rather do it face to face.

Thumbs up

I've paid all my bills online for the past few years. As a matter of fact, my bank is a "virtual" bank (President's Choice Financial). You can't beat it! Absolutely no banking fees and I finally make some interest on my balance each month rather than PAYING to keep my money in there.

I now pay my credit cards and all utilities online. I even file my income tax by phone now and get my refund within 2 weeks of filing.

I didn't know it until a couple of weeks ago, but Canadians use the internet for banking more than any other country. 85% of Canadians have a debit bank card. It's a huge growing industry up here and as a matter of fact, that's the business that I might just get hired to this week!

What a convenience - I just set the bill up for direct payment from my account as soon as it comes in and forget about it. And so far, it's been totally secure.

All the time. I love it. I have most of my bills set up for automatic payment. My husband's checks go into our account. The bills get paid. What's left over, is OURS!

I pay all of my bills online and I even have a couple of them set up for autodraft so the money is debited from my bank account on the same day each month. I find it works well. I'm very disorganzied and had a bad habit of losing the paper statements

Absolutely not. One, because my father works for the post office and I'm not taking money away from them if that's who's buttering my bread, so to speak. Two, because I'd rather not deal with all that crap on the internet. What a pain in the ass. I'd rather have a paper record. I'll never sign up for paperless billing either.
