I voted for dogs, but I love both.

I really do like both, but I grew up with a dog so of course I'm partial. They love you no matter what. Sure, they can be stupid and gross...but I can be stupid and gross too. I find people tend to fear dogs over cats but personally cats have always scared me a little because if you make a sudden move they freak out. Once I get past that and pet them and they don't freak I'm fine, though.

I grew up mostly with dogs, too, so I'm a little partial, but I love my cat, Tigger, too, who I found almost 3 years ago. He is so affectionate, that was the main reason I brought him home.

I've been lucky though that the dogs I have now, are rather intelligent. Also, none of them have suffered from separation anxiety and they're very friendly towards humans, too.

Plus I don't know about anybody elses dogs but I could have a really crappy day. I come home and they greet me with the best greeting. You dog owners probably know the greeting I'm talking about - the "OMG, I didn't think you would ever come home again" greeting!! It just makes things so much better that you are loved, even if it's from a dog!!

Yess! I came home from school today and my dog freaked out. Granted I really had not seen her in a couple of weeks, but it's usually like that. It really does help cheer you up.

I love Cats they are more cuddley and loveable and they can take care of themselfs when they are older exc, you dont have to worry about putting them outside to go potty they go right in the liter box and all you have to do is feed them,

Cats. I like dogs but could never own one - way too high maintenance for me.

I'm partial to cats, so I voted that way, but I love dogs too!
