Posts: 34,499	Joe Buck Joins HBO Sports Link Having lost Bob Costas to free agency, HBO Sports has added veteran baseball announcer Joe Buck to its roster. Buck is set to host a sports talk show on the pay cabler that will launch in May. His addition fills the void left by the departure of Costas, who has signed on to be a host and commentator on the new MLB Network. Buck spent 17 years as a radio commentator for Major League Baseball's St. Louis Cardinals, following in the footsteps of his play-by-play father. He joined Fox Sports in 1994, where he has handled both NFL and MLB broadcasts.
