Why do you call Cleveland's football team "Steamers?"

Smiley- Living-Write Scripts. I was real bad with my resolution this year, I was supposed to write a script for at least an hour, but during the Lenten Season I'm not going to be blogging in these forums so that I can write more scripts. Siblings-A younger brother and sister who STILL have it a little better than me (they live on their own and I still live at home). Dogs or Cats-Neither, I'm a Guinea Pig Person. Actor-John Candy. I even made a six degrees of separation game like the one for Kevin Bacon. Actress-Jennifer Anniston. Her Rachel Greene character from "Friends" may have been a bitch at times, but she actually does care for people...especially Ross Geller. |

The Cleveland Steamers sucked ass ever since our franchise came from a three-year hiatus. 1999-We wound-up as an expansion team and won only 2 games (One of them was against the Stealers). 2000-After only winning three games, we fired our first coach. 2001-We got it right, but the December game against Jacksonville was when the Steamers season got dragged-down (In what I call "The Beer Toss"). 2002-Only season that was memorable for the Steamers. 2003-After being 9-7, The Steamers were in Last Place in the AFC North. 2004-Basically a carbon-copy of the 2003 Season...and Davis left. 2005-Another sad season for The Steamers, especially the Christmas Eve Game when the Stealers blew our ass with 41 points! I even told my brother that the game was over...and that was the 1st Quarter! 2006-We couldn't even win a game in our own Division! And for those four years, we were in Last Place in our Division! 2007-Despite being 10-6, we miss the playoffs! 2008-After a frustrating year, we fired Crennel and hired Mangini. I just hope he's tough as nails. Also, between 1946 and 1949, the Browns were elite in the AAFC. In the 50's, the Browns were dominant and basically won the Championship (Only the Loins would beat them, except for one time). The 60's made the Browns be Super Bowl bound...but never went there. The 70's is when the Browns started to suck. The 80's is when we picked-up the pieces again. The 90's was when the Browns lost it and Fart Modell took everything and made his own expansion team, The Baltimore Ravens. That is why I call the Cleveland Browns the Cleveland Steamers. |

No, and I'm not planning on having any. I don't even have a girlfriend! I mentioned the season part before and it's summer. Compaq. A house, but it's my parents. Yep, I don't have the money to live by myself. As a matter of fact, my parents need me to loan them money! Yes I do, as a janitor at my church. Two guinea pigs named Oreo and Sissy. |

Have you ever read the book Cleveland TV memories by Tom Feran and R.D. Heldenfels? If not, you should. There's tons of stories about Big Chuck & Little John, Barnaby, the Wooly Bear Fest, etc.
