Did Anthony Leave the Show? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I seem to remember Anthony not being there in the end. I know he was in all of the seasons, I'm talking about him leaving towards the end of the final season. Maybe missing 8 or 9 episodes. Though no website that I've found states this, in the episode guides I've checked, the character of Anthony isn't mentioned in any of the episodes past #105 (of 114). Not even the last episode, it just mentions his wife and baby moving East (I assume to be with him). So does anyone know for sure if the character of Anthony left the show?

I read in People years ago that Michael Stoyanov, who played Anthony, left the show and moved east to write for the Conan O'Brien show. He later regretted that move.
