The episode that introduces us to Kris as Rick's wife. We never saw him dating her, much less a wedding, on the show. They just went, voila, here's Kris, Mrs. Rick Nelson! I bet long time viewers were thrown for a loop. I also wonder if Kris was pregnant (early stages) when she filmed this episode as they only showed her carefully from the waist up.

In any case, a nice little miunderstanding that rolls into a big snowball of confusion affecting Dave and June (she isn't seen though), Wally and Ginger ("Don't you sweetie pie, me, fatso!"

) and even Ozzie and Harriet.

I loved seeing Rick singing his "Fools Rush In" hit.....one that mostly gets ignored by the oldies station here.

Janine I think you are thinking of the episode about Rick and Kris's Wedding Picture. That has the outtake of Skip splitting his pants in a scene.

Jude, when I watched Ricks Wedding Ring, I could notice too how they were kiding Kris' pregnancy.

When both Dave and Rick married on the show, it did seem odd since up until we see the new wives both Dave and Rick were running around with a new girl every week.

I think one of the reasons Kris' pregnancy was hidden because their first child was concived before Rick and Kris were married.

^Yes, that fact was certainly played up in the made for TV bio about the Nelsons that ABC aired several years ago. I was shocked!

back then(and still now)there were probably young and older TV stars would have loved to hook up with a playboy model.

That's true, and this is also the time when Desi Arnaz was cheating left and right when he and Lucy were supposedly the happiest couple on Earth. Then again, they didn't have the likes of TMZ on their heels at all times like today.

oh TMZ is disgusting......and sadly the other entertainment shows seem to be in the same direction.

June was in an ep as Dave's secretary before she married him, but her name wasn't June in the episode. They did use it in a flashback scene later on, though, when June worked in the office as a sub for Connie.
