It will be over next weekend. The only thing I'll miss are the heart shaped Luv Pops, but they'll be replaced with something MUCH better, Peeps and Cadbury Eggs!

Yeah, just like all the jewelry store ads I saw on TV and heard on the radio at Christmas time!!

Then we get it all again 2 months later!

Just think though, it'll all be over in 11 days, unlike Christmas which seems to last 2 months!!

Cool

Valentine's Day is one holiday I don't celebrate. I really don't need a special day set aside to remind me that I'm single. (although I do like the chocolate!!!)

Not to mention the day AFTER Valentine's, when all the candy is 50-75% off.

I had heard of that but I still had to look it up.

Wiki says that Sweetest Day is giving small presents such as greeting cards, candy, and flowers to loved ones.

It's primarily in the Great Lakes region and parts of the Northeast US.

It's the 3rd Sat. in Oct.

Sweetest Day has also been referred to as a "concocted promotion" created by the candy industry solely to increase sales of candy.

Increase sales of candy?? I don't know why they need to do that since Halloween comes very shortly after that!!
