Pearl Bodine and Kate Bradley
Does anybody remember when The Clampetts were visiting Hooterville, Granny explaining a distant relationship between Cousin Pearl and Kate Bradley to the Bradley sisters? It explains the connection between the families and the Clampetts considering them "kin"!

I kind of wish that Bea Benaderet's role on "Petticoat Junction" would have been Pearl instead of Kate Bradley and the 3 girls could have been her nieces. Maybe they could have had more crossovers with "The Beverly Hillbillies" then.

I knew Granny's daughter was Jed's wife, so Elly Mae was her granddaughter . Jed was related to Pearl and Granny wasn't, so Jethro wasn't Granny's grandson . Jethro called her "Granny" because it was less formal than "Mrs . Moses" .
