Longtime DGA Awards host Carl Reiner, who was expected to emcee his 22nd DGA Awards ceremony Saturday night, has fallen ill with food poisoning and won't be able to take his onstage role.

"Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer, also a DGA member, will step in to handle hosting duties. The 61st annual DGA Awards dinner takes place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, with awards ceremony to follow.

Oh man, food poisoning is brutal! Poor guy.

Funny, I caught an episode late last night of "Father of the Pride" and was thinking about him and how he's doing (he's the voice of the grandfather).

Hope he's better soon! (And not wearing his toupee - you don't want to have to fish that out of the toilet!!!)
