Anne Hathaway is laughing off her failed relationship with her incarcerated conman ex Raffaello Follieri by playing a crooked clown's girlfriend on hit animated series The Simpsons.
The Devil Wears Prada star will play series regular Krusty the Clown's love interest in an upcoming episode, in which her character testifies in court on behalf of her wrongly-accused boyfriend. Hathaway's real-life ex, Italian businessman Follieri, is currently serving a four-and-a-half year prison sentence in Loretto, Pennsylvania after pleading guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering in October. Hathaway split from Follieri just before the details of his crimes hit the headlines. |

Good to see she has a sense of humor about it. The bit sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.
